Hello! My name is Elena, I’m 22 years old and I come from Treviso, a small medieval town in Italy. I’m an estremely curious and reflective soul, and I’ve been a food lover since I was born.
I grew up between the city and the countryside, for which I’ve always had a soft spot, but that I had to put aside to prioritise my studies; now, though, I want to fully rediscover that love and my roots, as both sides of my family have always been tied to nature and farming.
I joined CICD’s 7 months’ Climate Activist programme because, as I finished my university studies in international relationships, I felt the need to put into practice all the theoretical notions I learned and to act concretely against the danger climate change poses to the world, having a direct impact on the planet I am living on while also helping other people.
