ElizabethHi there!

I'm Elizabeth Lazo Moreno from Mexico. I'm 45 years old, I have a degree in Food Chemistry, an MBA in Productivity and Quality and a Masters in Organisational Development. I've been working in the food industry for 20 years and I've done all the things that are supposed to be done in a professional life according to the training I received from my family, school and society; I mean I studied, graduated, got a job and started to get better positions in different companies until I finally got a management position in a food manufacturing plant.

Despite this, and even though I really appreciate and thank all the blessings I have received, the experiences I have had and the people I have known from whom I have learnt a lot (for the best or for the worst), I felt that mi desire, mi passion, mi vocation is somewhere else.

I remember hearing stories of people who left everything and made a drastic change in their lives. I remember once, while I was waiting to make my monthly payments, I read about a woman who was a cashier and decided to do this at the age of 40. I thought, who dares, that takes so much courage, I would really like to do that, but I don't think I'm that brave. It was maybe 6 years ago and now I'm here, I've found my calling, I've found the way to get that courage and I've overcome the fear of quitting and the fear of criticism or getting a bad reaction from my relatives and colleagues (I was on a very important project for the company and there were only four of us in the team).

I'm very excited about this decision, which follows the call I felt to find my life's passion.

I'll really appreciate all the people who respect my decision and support me today, my husband (you're amazing), my family, my friends, my work partners.

I know God has a plan for me and I hope I can really understand what it is and I feel I'm on my way.

If you are looking for something, I hope this little part of my story helps.
