I am Alison from the UK. I had been looking for a volunteer opportunity for a few months.
I saw CICD advertised on Facebook in early December 2024. I took the decision to join CICD by Christmas 2024 with a start date of February 2025. What appealed to me was the opportunity to learn to skills and then apply these to the volunteer placement in Africa; to help people less fortunate than myself.
Also the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends whilst studying.
