Hi! My name is Germán, and I'm from Colombia. I'm 40 years old and was born in Sandoná. I hold a degree in Agroforestry Engineering, a Master of Science in Environmental Socioeconomics, and a PhD in Environmental Engineering. Currently,
I worked as a Scientist in several countries, focusing on sustainable processes, agroecology, climate-smart agriculture, and the environmental and economic assessment of natural resources. Over the years, I have also specialized in impact assessment and related topics, driven by my passion for creating sustainable solutions for our planet.
When I decided to join CICD College and the GAIA program, it marked the beginning of an unforgettable journey. Being here has been an enriching experience, allowing me to engage in cultural exchange and gain valuable knowledge within the institution.
This experience has broadened my understanding and equipped me to develop proposals that contribute to human development. I firmly believe that without a strong social fabric, it would be impossible to implement the necessary changes in the social and environmental pillars.
