Hello! My name is Fabio, I’m 38 years old and I’m from Brazil. I decided to participate in the 10-month course as a Development Instructor because I would like to do something meaningful and learn both here in England and in Malawi.
The knowledge and skills that are developed here are important not only for the period of classes, but for life, as we have classes both on historical facts and how to prepare the soil for plantations.
In addition, we have the chance to meet people of different nationalities, expanding our friendship network, exchanging culture, ideas, worldview and having contact with other languages.
Finally, we have the volunteering period, where contact with the reality that unfortunately we sometimes forget or ignore because it seems distant. I believe that this period will make us have another notion of what is really important in our life, which is the sense of humanity.
